Some have asked

We are not having a big funeral for Lina.  Like we did for her brother, we will have a brief graveside service for her on Wednesday at 11 am. I have a feeling it will be extra-brief as it’s January in Minnesota.  It will be at Forest Hills Cemetery, 2516 Woodland Avenue, Duluth MN 55803.

    Dear, Dear Patrice:

I am so terribly sorry. I truly wish that I could swoop in and take you away. No one should ever have to live through the loss of their children and the pain that you are living through, right now.

Like others have said, I will say too. There are no words, just sadness. I hope that it brings you some comfort to know that people you’ve never met, the world over, are praying for you and your Lina, Lina Jelly Beana. You are in my heart.

    Jen

I will be there, I wouldn’t miss it for anything. Let me know if there is anything that I can do or bring.

    Kat

About Me

I'm a grieving mom. I have one beautiful daughter, Annika, who's 3 years old now (born 12/28/04). I also had twins, Lina and Cole, on 10/04/07, born at just 26 weeks. We lost Cole after just 23 days due to complications related to his prematurity. Fiesty little Lina overcame so much and just when she was getting ready to come home with us, suddenly had a complication unrelated to her prematurity and passed away on January 11, 2008. This blog is about getting through it. More...
