It’s strange where these things can get you. This morning I was in CVS, browsing the Easter cards. I picked up a cute one with colorful Easter Bunnies and eggs on the front. “Happy Easter” it said. Then I opened it. The message inside was “Know what I mean Jelly Bean?”
I almost bought it. I still might go back for it. But that would be crazy, right?
P.S. Yesterday was 2 months, exactly, from the day Lina died.
It was her saying “hi” to her mommy…
Hi – Just wanted to stop in and let you know we check on your blog every day and are saying prayers for you and your little ones every day also.
Hi there, thank you for your support, I am so sorry too for you. I want you to know I am thinking of you both.
Not crazy at all. Sometimes we get messages in the mostamazing ways. This was one from her. You don’t need the card, but if it would give you comfort than buy it.
You have not posted in some time, hope you are “ok.”
Hi Patrice,
Checking up on you. I’d read this post before, but not commented, so I think I will.
I would go back and buy the card. Any material connections you can have with your daughter, take them. The ethereal ones are indescribable, but the earthbound ones you can hold, and look at, and see concretely.
I would like to get this card for you. Since I can’t, I’ll just send you a loving message.
Thinking of you and your children, and wishing you peace and spots of joy growing ever larger and more frequent,
Diana
